Fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. This surface treatment combines matte with gloss glazes and often fools the eye into thinking it could be glass! It fools even the most discerning until they look closer. Perfect for the collector who likes the unique and unusual. So different from most of my work, but still it had to be made.
