This is the third in my new sculpture series feathering the Raven. The first two sold out immediately and this one just came out of the kiln. We all know the raven loves to collect, preferring shiny objects. The golden feather was included at the last moment...I had been listening to Robbie Robertson's song with the phrase "I gave my love a golden feather" as a token of my love and so felt inclined to include it in this piece. The Raven mates for life and so the golden feathers seems just right for inclusion with her many treasures.
