Wheel thrown porcelain perfume with hand applied spikes. Airbrushed matte black glazes for the body and glossy red glaze for the tips. Fired together they produce a piece that looks like it might be glass but it is really all porcelain.

Inspired by the rugged seed burrs that cling to everything at certain times of the year...small, often irritating, but able to be mobile, searching for their new home via clothing, animal fur, etc. Admirable nature at its best. Signed and dated.
