Hand sculpted Raven sitting in a nest of hand sculpted acorns. Airbrushed mate glazes fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. This is #4 in my limited edition of Raven sculptures. Each sculpture is limited to five makings each one different as each is hand made. This is #1 with the Acorn motif. Living here as I do on the ranch in southern Oregon, this year has given all a bumper crop of acorns so precious as food for all animals and subsequently for their predators as well. During this time the Raven searches carefully for the magical golden acorn and succeeds in Her search. Signed and dated.
