5.5"H x 5"W x 4"D Wheel thrown porcelain box, carved in a fluted pattern. Hand sculpted hummingbird with leaf accents. Airbrushed matte glazes fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. Sculptural yet functional box, part of my evolving hummingbird series. This one is the last of its kind featuring a black box with a green hummer. My new series focuses on the waterlily on the box.

The hummingbird looks fragile, but she is packed carefully, double boxed, so flies safely to her new owner. Last of the series, and priced to reflect that.
